Datarango creates a gamified AI learning platform that immerses users in real-world industry scenarios, offering a dynamic learning experience from beginner to advanced levels. Learning data science / artificial intelligence nowadays is done by engineers to engineering-mindset audiences, losing business context perspective. When a new learner decides to start their learning process everything becomes overwhelming because there is no real business context where value can be added. Everything comes down to coding, statistics, mathematics, and engineering. The overwhelming feeling is higher among learners with no technical background.

Today’s market demands data scientists and artificial intelligence engineers capable of identifying business opportunities using data and generating a solution capable of solving any problem with any data at any scale.

- **Structured Progression**: The user journey is divided into levels, each with increasing complexity and difficulty.
- **Knowledge Assessment**: Users are tested to determine their initial knowledge and guide them toward the appropriate starting point.
- **Gamification**: Progression is rewarded with coins and badges, encouraging user engagement.
- **Personalized Learning**: Learning paths and problem sets are tailored to the user's chosen industry.
- **Expert Guidance**: Users can interact with patrons and fellow users via the community.

## Key Components for Developers

### User Onboarding and Initial Assessment:

- **Registration**: Standard user registration process.
- **Knowledge Assessment (Level 0)**: Upon registration, users encounter a short quiz/assessment to gauge their initial AI knowledge. This assessment is dynamic:
  - **Beginner**: If the user demonstrates little to no prior knowledge, they are assigned to Level 1 (Beginner Level) and presented with foundational learning materials.
  - **Intermediate**: Users with some prior knowledge are placed into an appropriate intermediate level and presented with the materials from the intermediate level.
  - **Advanced**: Users demonstrating significant knowledge are placed in the advanced levels.
- **Dynamic Level Assignment**: If the user performs poorly during any level, then the user will be pushed to a lower level and provided with more basic learning materials.

### Levels and Progression:

- **Level Structure**: The platform consists of multiple levels, grouped into stages (e.g., Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). Each level will consist of a set of learning materials (videos, text, tutorials), followed by problem sets.
  - Learning materials will be short videos, reading materials, and test users can learn daily
- **Level Unlocking**: Users must complete the current level’s learning materials and problem sets to unlock the next level.
- **Difficulty Escalation**: Each level introduces more complex concepts and challenging problem sets.

### Learning Materials:

- **Content Types**: Learning materials include instructional videos, articles, tutorials, and documentation.
- **Progress Tracking**: The system tracks the user's progress through the materials, showing what content has been completed.
- **Content Organization**: Learning materials are organized by level and tagged with relevant keywords for easy search and personalization.

Mystery Lab is designed to help you solve real-world problems to test your Al and Data skills. In this mystery lab, you will be asked to play the role of an Al or Data specialist and use your skills to solve real-world and business problems for The Rango Company, based on the knowledge provided.

## Mission

Your mission tab contains all the details about the problem you want to solve.

## Dataset

All the datasets you need to solve the problem will be provided in the dataset tab. You will not always be provided with a dataset. Sometimes you may be instructed to search for data in the wild or data repositories like [Kaggle](https://kaggle.com).

## Rules

The rules tab provides you with different information to help you solve the problem ethically. This tab could also provide you with tips on solving the problem.

## Notebook

Datarango is designed to help you solve all your problems in one place. A Jupyter Notebook has been integrated for you to run your experiments.

## Submission

When you have built your solution, you will click on the submit button, you will see a submission page where you will be asked to upload your notebook for assessment and evaluation.
